H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities (BACA) President, received, on 11 March 2019, H.E Dr. Pascal Rass, Deputy Head of the Swiss Federation Diplomatic Mission to Bahrain. The best ways and means to consolidate the cultural and human relations between both countries were discussed during the meeting.

Both parties discussed during the meeting the opportunities available to develop increasing  mutual cultural cooperation between both countries. H.E said stressed the deep-rooted bilateral relations of friendship and  Bahrain's rich culture, making it a regional cultural and civilizational  lighthouse reflecting the bright  image of Bahrain and attracting worldwide visitors. H.E briefed Dr. Pascal Rass about BACA’s efforts to enhance the local cultural movement.

H.E Dr. Pascal Rass, for his part, highlighted the importance of investing in culture, which would enhance dialogue between peoples and  civilizations, lauding BACA’s efforts BACA’s efforts to promote and boost cultural exchange with countries all over the world, stressing that such endeavors have consolidated Bahrain’s reputation as an international cultural center. Swiss Federation Diplomatic Mission Deputy Head  also expressed his constant readiness to cooperate with BACA in order to carry out  future cultural projects and help enrich the cultural scene in the kingdom.
