An Evening of Distinguished Traditional musical Performance at Dar-Al Muharraq
Dar al Muharraq hosted on 23 March 2019, an amazing evening of music event performed by Dar Qalali Music Band as part of the 14th Spring Culture Festival events organized by Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities.
During the music concert event, the band offered a bouquet of exceptional traditional famous Bahrain folk music performances, which characterize the famous Sout art in Bahrain.
Worth to mention that Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities periodically organizes music concerts at Dar al Muharraq, enhancing thus its efforts to document the Intangible Cultural Heritage of this important venue. In addition, Dar al Muharraq also accommodates a special area for holding training programs, workshop spaces, and related lectures. Both houses, Dar al Muharraq and Dar al Riffa, undertake, on rotation, to welcome, host and present periodical exceptional music performances by leading Bahraini music groups, offering the opportunity to lovers of Bahraini famous traditional Sout art and folk music to enjoy their sweet evenings.
