H.E Shaikha Mai Receives the Palestinian Ambassador
H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities, received on 29 October, His Excellency Mr. Taha Abdulqader, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Kingdom of Bahrain, to discuss ways and means of enhancing relations between both countries.
During the meeting, H.E Shaikha Mai attached great importance to the deeply-rooted relations between both countries and the need to promote intellectual and cultural communication, noting the many common cultural grounds between Bahrain and Palestine. H.E lauded the Palestinian cultural presence at the local level attributed to the constructive cooperation between the BACA and Palestine's Embassy in Bahrain, and its effective participation in the Bahraini cultural scene, as reflected by Bahrain Summer 2019 events.
The Palestinian Ambassador, for his part, thanked H.E Shaikha Mai for her efforts to enhance relations between Bahrain and for building bridges of communication with other brotherly Arab countries, asserting that the Palestinian embassy is looking forward to further strengthening common cultural and humanitarian cooperation with Bahrain Culture Authority.
