H.E Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities welcomed in her office on 9 September 2021, His Excellency Shaikh Thamer Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah, Ambassador of Kuwait in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Both parties exchanged different points of view on ways to enhance cultural relations between the two countries.

H.E Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammed Al Khalifa asserted that the Kingdom of Bahrain shares with GCC brotherly countries solid historical cultural and civilizational relations that would certainly contribute to achieving the aspirations and objectives of their peoples, lauding the strong fraternal relations with the State of Kuwait, and the its extensive generous support to cultural action in Bahrain. H.E briefed the Kuwaiti ambassador on the latest cultural activities and events, pointing out to the long-awaited opening of the major global prestigious event, Expo 2020 Dubai, Bahrain National Pavilion, wishing a bright success for Kuwait’s participation in this international endeavor.

For his part, Kuwait's Ambassador to Bahrain Shaikh Thamer Jaber Al- Ahmad Al- expressed his pride in the brotherly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, stressing that these relations have been and will remain a model for brotherly relations in various fields. The ambassador of the State of Kuwait voiced his continuous and constant support to Bahrain Culture Authority in order to implement and carry out common cultural projects that reflect the shared hopes and ambitious aspirations and hopes of both peoples and fraternally nations.
