Led by Maestro Mubarak Najem, The Bahrain Philharmonic Orchestra will dazzle with an amazing concert at the Bahrain National Theater next Sunday
In celebration of Bahrain National Theatre’s 10th Anniversary and the Kingdom’s national celebrations, the Bahrain Philharmonic Orchestra, led by Maestro Mubarak Najem, will dazzle the audience with an amazing enchanting musical evening, on 11 December 2022 at the National Theater.
Indeed, the Bahrain Philharmonic Orchestra will perform a selection of the most refined international orchestral music compositions, such as music of "Scheherazade" by Rimsky Karsakov, the ballet music "Swan Lake", one of Tchaikovsky's most beloved ballets, the music of "Carmen" by Bizet, and other pieces.
The concert includes solo performances by the international pan flutist Liselotte Pokyta from the Czech Republic, the British trombonist John Milgate and the promising Bahraini violinist Aseel Al- Jabal. In addition, the orchestra, along with the Bahraini Qanoon player Mohammed Aseeri, and the well-known flute player Ayman Barjas, will perform a set of classical pieces, and will take you on a nostalgic journey with Bahraini and Khaleeji tunes reconstructed classically by Maestro Najem to take the audience back in time with each melody.
