H.E Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, met with His Highness Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, the Saudi Minister of Culture. The meeting came on the sidelines of the 23rd edition of the Conference of Arab Ministers Responsible for Cultural Affairs in the Arab World, which was held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Indeed, the meeting dealt with a number of cultural issues related to the cultural reality in both countries, where the discussion centered on joint endeavors to enhance areas of intellectual and knowledge –based cooperation. In addition, both parties discussed ways and means of reinforcing partnership with regard to highly qualified cadres to achieve the aspirations of the two countries in advancing cultural and civilizational gains and protecting the cultural identity of the both peoples of the two brotherly countries.
In addition, two parties also stressed the importance of what was included in the agenda of the twenty-third session of the Conference of Arab Ministers Responsible for Cultural Affairs, in terms of issues related to strengthening relations with brotherly Arab countries in various cultural aspects. The meeting also shed light on what brings together Arab societies, namely the language, common intellectual backgrounds, heritage and ancient history.
