H.E Shaikha Mai Receives the CEO of the Arab Petroleum Investment Corporation
H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, received in her office on 22 February 2022, Dr. Ahmed Ali Ateeqa, CEO of the Arab Petroleum Investment Corporation (APICORP), to discuss ways of joint cooperation between both parties.
During the meeting, H.E Shaikha Mai briefed Dr. Ateeqa on the latest developments in cultural activity in the Kingdom, which includes the opening of the Spring Cultural Festival, on 25 February 25, featuring the performance of "Akhenaten, Dust of Light" by Walid Aouni, hosed by the Bahrain National Theater, as well as and a number of other activities in several venues scheduled by the festival. H.E also reasserted the Culture Authority’s keenness to involve the private sector in upgrading the cultural movement and the cultural infrastructure of the Kingdom.
Dr. Ateeqa, for his part, expressed his happiness with the effervescent and rich cultural activities and events carried out by the Culture Authority, stressing the readiness of the Arab Petroleum Investments Company to cooperate with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities to achieve more cultural production, which contributes to promoting the Kingdom's history and deeply rooted exceptional culture.
