The President of the Bahrain Culture Authority Receives the CEO of the Saudi Heritage Commission
His Excellency Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, welcomed at the Art Centre on Wednesday the 27th of July 2022, His Excellency Dr. Jasser bin Sulaiman Al Harbash, CEO of the Heritage Commission at the Saudi Ministry of Culture. This meeting comes within the framework of discussing ways to enhance cooperation between both sides, in line with participation of the Saudi Heritage Commission in the 2022 Bahrain Summer Festival activities.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa expressed his great pride in the brotherly and historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, praising the efforts of the Saudi Ministry of Culture in promoting joint cultural cooperation between the two sides. His Excellency also praised the level of distinguished attendance of the Heritage Authority in the activities of this year's Bahrain Summer Festival, which reflects BACA’s keenness to deepen the Bahraini-Saudi cultural relations.
Dr. Jasser bin Sulaiman Al-Harbash, for his part, expressed his pride in the shared and common cultural, intellectual and historical heritage denominators that unite the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, thanking the President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities for his efforts in advancing the consultations in the cultural fields between the two countries. Dr. Al-Harbash also affirmed his constant readiness to cooperate with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities to serve the interests of the two brotherly countries and elevate the Bahraini-Saudi cultural relations to open-ended horizons.
