Al Jasra Handicrafts Center Unveils New Training Projects in June, A workshop every Saturday
A number of entertaining workshops have been lined up by Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities’ Al Jasra Handicarfts Center during June 2022. Indeed, Al Jasra Handicrafts Center continues its traditional craft activities and industries, offering training courses with the participation of a team of experts and specialists.
The Center offers a training program during the current month, including evening and Saturday workshops. The program features several workshops in traditional and modern Bahraini handicrafts, such as the art of Resin, Al Atoor , perfume making and the art of making terrazzo pots And Arket Wood Workshop (arkt) and the basics of mosaic making (mosaic).
The morning workshops every Saturday will include weaving, the basics of molding clay with the wheel, Basket –Making and Gypsum engraving.
Al-Jasra Handicrafts Center 2022 training Workshops Program, featuring a series of amazing different artistic workshops as part of the Creative Crafts and Industries Program, is spearheaded by the center in order to develop the traditional handcrafts and industries in the Kingdom of Bahrain and their safeguard. Through these training courses at Al Jasra Handicraft Center, aims to provide participants with new experiences and skills that qualify them to set up small creative projects, due to the dependence of these industries on handcrafted products using locally available tools and raw materials.
