On the side of her visit to the Kingdom of Morocco, H.E Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities met with His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication. The two parties also discussed ways to strengthen cultural bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
During the meeting, H.E highlighted the historical cultural ties that reflect the importance of joint Arab cultural work from the ocean to the Gulf, praising the cultural exchange between the two countries, which has resulted in the past years, joint programs and activities, and a distinguished presence of Morocco in the Bahraini cultural scene. Indeed, the Kingdom of Bahrain has always been present in major Moroccan cultural meetings and forums held in Morocco.
In addition, H.E also briefed His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Mehdi Bensaid on the strenuous efforts deployed by the Arab Regional Center for World Heritage and the book launch “The World Heritage Book in the Arab Countries” inaugurated at the Moroccan National Library with the support of GFH Financial Group.
The regional center had launched the book in its second part in the Kingdom of Bahrain at the beginning of this year, and it was launched for the first time at the headquarters of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in the French capital, Paris.
Worth mentioning that the second edition of the book "World Heritage Sites in the Arab Countries was launched earlier this year at the ARC_WH’s headquarters in the capital, Manama. The book, which is presented in three languages–Arabic, English and French—aims to promote the World Heritage sites in the Arab countries was also launched at the end of last year for the first time at the headquarters of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in the French capital, Paris.
