The 31st Bahrain International Music Festival Carries on Fantastic Concerts Held Cultural Hall and Dar Al -Muharraq
Huge public audience attended at the Cultural Hall, the amazing concert, “A Tribute to the Late Mohammed Zowayed by the Bahrain Music Band Conducted by Maestro Zeyad Zaiman, on 4 October, 2022. On the fortieth anniversary of his passing, the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities presents a tribute to the Bahraini singer Mohammed Zowayed in honor of his artistic legacy , accompanied by the Bahrain Music Band led by Maestro Zeyad Zaiman. The audience enjoyed the magic of the past musical pieces and songs transmitted by generations performed by the band performed them, evoking the distinctive style of the artist, Mohamed Zowayed, in playing and singing.
Bahrain International Music festival continues to present memorable music nights until 7 October, whereby Dar- al Muharraq will host the Ismaeel Dawas Band performing traditional music heritage songs, on 5 October, at 8:00 pm. Free admission to those who are 8 years-old and above. Established in 1935, the Ismaeel Dawas Band continues to perform the ancient folk lyrical heritage of the island to this day. A staple at the Kingdom’s cultural and national celebrations, this band exposes younger generations to their inherited musical heritage to endure its sustainability and preserve it from extinction.
Bahrain International Music festival remaining events feature a performance of traditional Japanese drums, the Taiko band and Agaku Miyabi, in cooperation with the Embassy of Japan in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and to celebrate the golden jubilee of diplomatic relations between the two friendly countries. The final concert by Palestinian singer “Noel Kharman” will be on 7 October, who is giving her concert for the first time in the Kingdom of Bahrain
As part of the festival 31st edition of the Bahrain International Music Festival, held from 1-7 October 2022, Café Lilou will present a special menu in all branches of the café, reflecting the cultural diversity and musical genres offered by the festival.
