The consultation meetings with the cultural sectors began last evening, Monday the 10th of October 2022 at the Flexible Theater at the Bahrain National Theater, in the presence of His Excellency Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, along with a number of experts, specialists and those interested in the cultural affairs in Bahrain. The first meeting focused on literature and intellectual production, where many topics and recommendations in this field were discussed.

Consultation meetings with the cultural sectors started yesterday evening, Monday, October 10, 2022, at the Flexible Theater at the Bahrain National Theater, in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, and a number of experts, specialists and those interested in cultural affairs in Bahrain.
The first meeting focused on literature and intellectual production, where many topics in this field were discussed and a number of recommendations came out.
These meetings come as part of the Culture Authority’s endeavor to advance cultural work in the Kingdom of Bahrain through an objective reading of its reality, in addition to defining its priorities and aspirations of its workers.

The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities affirms that achieving civilizational achievements and activating the tools of cultural work in a way that achieves national interests and promotes Bahrain's position as a center for cultural production comes through partnership with social community.

In addition to literature and intellectual production, the topics of the consultative meeting include: architecture and design, music, folk arts, cinema, performing arts, heritage and antiquities, plastic arts and handicrafts. The meetings will be held in places and cultural monuments that reflect the content of these themes, such as the Bahrain National Theater, the Pearling Path Visitors Center, Al Jasra Center and the Arts Center.
