GCC Culture Ministers Honor Culture, Heritage and Arts Prominent Figures on the Sidelines of 26th Meeting in Riyadh.

On the sidelines of the 26th meeting of their Highnesses and Excellencies Ministers of Culture in the Cooperation Council States, which was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Numerous dignitaries attended this occasion, which was held in conjunction with the 26th meeting of the GCC Ministers of Culture and was hosted by the GCC Cultural Committee. As part of the ceremony honoring Gulf innovators, Mr. Hassan Salman Muhammad Kamal was honored for his outstanding contributions in literature and arts, together with Ms. Aisha Khalifa Matar, who excelled in in the field of handicrafts and traditional industries.

It is worth mentioning that Mr. Hassan Salman Mohammad Kamal is a Bahraini poet, researcher and plastic artist. He held a number of media and cultural positions. He also participated in a number of Arab international conferences and contributed to the establishment of a number of literary and artistic societies in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Ms. Aisha Khalifa Matar has extensive work experience in the field of research and studies related to traditional craft projects, and she is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Shaikh Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Center for Culture and Research and the Awal Women’s Association in Muharraq.

This honor is also based on the Committee's unique strategic objectives, which encourage the production of cultural works linked to identity, elevate the value of citizenship, and strengthen its position as the leading cultural organization in the GCC.
The ceremony honoring Gulf innovators is one of the joint cultural events approved by Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Ministers of Culture in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and aims to enhance cultural, intellectual and literary mobility and support creative productions in the cultural fields, as well as introducing future generations to creators as honorable models of cultural creative production.
