Keen to diversify its distinguished cultural initiatives and programs, the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities is organizing a cultural event entitled "From the Post" at the Manama Post Museum (Department of Post: History and Documentation) opposite the Bab Al-Bahrain building in February and March 2023. On 4 February, 2023, the new challenging amazing cultural events will kicks off, and will be held during different times at the same day, resuming activities every Saturday over the course of six weeks.

Indeed, the events aims to shed light on the historic city of Manama and its ancient heritage for a period of six weeks, whereby all are invited to rediscover this port city; to learn and engage with some of the main elements of the city, from its architecture, markets, gold craftsmanship, fashion and many cuisines. The public will be engaged through a variety of different activities from walks, talks, music and workshops to enjoy the historical and cultural aesthetic. In a unique experience, and for the first time, the Manama Post balcony hosts “The Dot Café, which opens its doors daily, between February 4th - March 11th , and will transform this space into a specialized café that offers its visitors various types of coffee. The café opens its doors from 8:00: am until 7:00 pm. On Saturdays, the Dot café will remain open to visitors until 9:00 pm in the evening. Closed on Fridays, however.

As one of the important economic and cultural centers in the Gulf region and the Arab world, the city of Manama, the most cherished “From the Post” series of cultural programs includes many promotional activities for the historic city of Manama, including ancient buildings, popular cafes, gold shops, and popular traditional costumes. In addition, participants in these cultural weeks will be pleased certainly to explore the hectic beehive daily life activities in the old streets and alleyways of this ancient city. Moreover, each week of these six weeks will have its special slogan and special character and title, reflecting, thus, BACA’s masterminded unique cultural activity planned for this occasion. Indeed, Bahrain Culture Authority has scheduled these weeks respectively: "Architectural Heritage", "Manama Food", "Bahraini Gold: Goldsmithing and Decoration", "Clothing and Fashion", "Commercial Activities", and "Urban City Fabric".
