The Spring of Culture Festival’s 17th Edition Kicks off Tonight at Bahrain National Theater with “Ya Zaina” Concert performed by gorgeous artist Ahmed al-Jumairi
The much-awaited annual fervent cultural biggest event is back again! Indeed, the Bahrain National Theater will host, on 14 February 2023, the opening ceremony of the 17th edition of the Spring of Culture Festival. Distinguished Bahraini artist Ahmed Jumairi will present his music concert “Yal Zina”, accompanied by the Bahrain Music Ensemble, led by Maestro Ziad Zeeman.
In addition, the launch of the Spring of Culture Festival coincides with the National Action Charter Day. Indeed, concert sheds light on the beautiful long journey of the artist Al-Jumairi, an icon and a symbol of Bahraini distinctive creative music voice that has, for decades, entertained and hypnotized Arab music lovers. Moreover, the participation of the Bahrain Music Band in the ceremony enhances its artistic career in reviving the local heritage and presenting contemporary art in a special and distinctive color.
The Spring of Culture Festival will continue until the end of next March and is organized by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Shaikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Center for Culture, & Research, Al Dana Amphitheatre, in cooperation with Al Riwaq Art Space, Al Bareh Fine Arts and Art Concept. Indeed, the events are held in many cultural institutions, historical sites and urban landmarks in the Kingdom, and vary between performances, exhibitions, lectures, artistic evenings and cultural meetings.
Worth to mention that the 17th Spring of Culture Festival is strategically sponsored by the Economic Development Board, a Golden sponsorship from Tamkeen, and Silver sponsorship from Aluminum Bahrain (Alba) and the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait. Moreover, a number of embassies in Bahrain also contribute to the festival program, namely the embassies of Italy, the United States of America, India, Japan and France.
