The 17th Edition of Spring of Culture Festival Presents Omar Rahbany & the Passport Chamber Ensemble
First Concert at the Cultural Hall on Friday
The First concert to be hold at the Cultural Hall will start on Friday, 17 Fberuary, 2023, at 8:00 pm with the magnificent music group, Omar Rahbani and the Passport Musical Ensemble as part of the 17th edition of the Spring of Culture Festival. Free admission.
Indeed, Omar Rahbany and his own musical group, the Passport Chamber Ensemble, take the Cultural Hall stage to blur the borders between musical genres from Classical, Pop, Folk, Jazz, Arabic and other styles. The Passport Chamber Ensemble is an eclectic and polyvalent musical ensemble formed by a selection of musicians chosen for their versatility, technical skills and musical openness.
In addition, the Cultural Hall will also host more sweet music concerts during February starting at 8:00 p.m. On 21 February 2023, Ala Ghawas concert will serenade audiences with a selection of songs, both in Arabic and English, from his nine albums released throughout his 15 years-long career. Artist Ghawas, who is an independent musician and bilingual singer-songwriter from Bahrain, is celebrated as one of the most influential artists of his generation.
Moreover, on 28 February, and in cooperation with the French Embassy in Bahrain, the Cultural Hall will present a memorable French music evening. Indeed, the Musical Evening from France concert by renowned French pianists Maxime Zecchini and David Bismuth revisits an array of French music including classical, French film soundtracks and tunes by French singing legends. Audiences will certainly enjoy this night listening to the most prominent pieces of French musicians and travel to wonderful music timeless French masterpieces.
