For the Second Week, “From the Post” Amazing Various Events Shed Light on a Local and International Delicious food tasting experience in Manama

For the second successive week, the pioneering cultural, art and social wonderful bouquet of events launched by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, namely “From the Post” has returned to the gorgeous city of Manama, on 11 February 2023. Starting from the Manama Post Museum opposite the Bab Al Bahrain building, under the title "Manama Food", whereby participants went through a memorable cuisine experience full of flavors and tasted the unique features of culinary traditions in Manama, home to different tasty local and international cuisines and foods.

In addition, the Manama Post Terrace has continued to host The Dot Café, which has transformed this space into a specialized café offering its visitors various types of coffee. Noteworthy that the café opens its doors on a daily basis on the first floor of Manama Post office from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and remains open on Saturdays only until 9 pm (closed on Fridays) until March 11, 2023.

Moreover, the program of “From the Post” included a number of joyful activities, starting with the tour in Manama in cooperation with the "Manama Lab", which explored the many restaurants scattered in the old market. In addition and in cooperation with the Children's Cultural House "SARD", a "Traditional Coffee" workshop was held, as well as a workshop for shaping and making chairs and tables to design a Bahraini traditional coffee model. The "From the Post" event also witnessed the organization of a photo tour with the professional photographer Hassan Al-Nasheet, and a workshop entitled "The Art of Preparing Specialized Coffee" in cooperation with The Dot Café. “From the Post” events program continued its activities with a bicycle tour in Manama in cooperation with "Kashta Tours", and was followed by a discussion session entitled "Transformations of Bahraini Food".

Worth to mention that “ From the Post" events will continue until March 11, every Saturday, presenting different activities with different titles and topics that shed light on the ancient culture of the city of Manama.
