The President of the Culture Authority Receives the head of the Muharraq Municipal Council

H.E Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, received Mr. Abdulaziz Ahmed Al-Naar, Chairman of Muharraq Municipal Council, and a number of council members. This meeting comes to discuss a number of cultural infrastructure projects in Muharraq Governorate.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Chairman of the Culture Authority welcomed Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Naar, praising the Council's role in meeting the service needs of citizens and residents in a way that supports sustainable development plans. The meeting reviewed the cultural infrastructure projects in Muharraq Governorate, and His Excellency the Chairman of the Authority stressed the importance of enhancing areas of joint coordination between the two sides, in a way that contributes to the improvement and development of the city of Muharraq and upgrading its cultural infrastructure.

In turn, the Chairman of the Muharraq Municipal Council extended his thanks and appreciation for the efforts of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, stressing the pivotal role of culture in promoting the civilizational reputation of the Kingdom of Bahrain and celebrating the ancient city of Muharraq and its long-standing historical gains.
