“From the Post” in its Last Sixtht Week:A bouquet of amazing cultural events

Curtains fell on the most creative initiative “From the Post”, yesterday, 11 March 2023, held in Manama. Indeed, the weekly activities of cultural were held at different times between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm, starting from the Manama Post Museum opposite Bab Al Bahrain.

In fact, in the last Sixth and final week of the “From the Post” event, the public was amazingly satisfied with a program full of activities that focus on the theme of “the urban fabric of the city”. The aim of this event was to shed light on the visual heritage of Manama and the customs and traditions it witnesses that reflect the history and originality of the community that inhabits the old city. The Dot Café, hosted by Manama Post, continued to serve various types of coffee to its visitors from 9 am to 9 pm.

Moreover, the cultural program featured the following activities: field tours inside Manama, starting from the Postal Department Museum, starting with a tour entitled “Neighborhoods of Manama”, which was held in cooperation with the Manama Laboratory, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. In addition, there was a photography tour entitled “Streets and the City” with photographers Mustafa Al-Bastaki and Hassan Al-Nasheet from 3:30 to 6:00 pm and a scooter tour in cooperation with Kashta Tours and E-Scooter at 4:00 pm.

In addition, a children's workshop was be held in cooperation with the Children's Cultural House - SARD, entitled "Al-Furjan" at 10:00am. Noteworthy also the two discussion sessions, the first entitled “To Manama We Return” with Ms. Nazli Tawfeeqi at 5:00 pm, and the second entitled “The Structures of Ancient Cities” with Eng. Rawia Al-Mannai, Technical Affairs Advisor at the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture. Finally, the audience enjoyed a sweet music live performance of Dar Band Return to Riffa at 7:30 at Bab Al Bahrain.
