The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities hosted a special event at the Bahrain National Theatre on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain's celebration of its National Day and the anniversary of the accession of His Majesty the King to the throne and the accompanying national events. The event was attended by His Excellency Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, along with the Authority’s directors and staff.
In his remarks, His Excellency extended heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
His Excellency emphasised that this is a significant occasion to reflect on Bahrain’s remarkable achievements under the wise leadership of His Majesty the King, highlighting the inclusive development that has solidified Bahrain’s position as a leading model regionally and internationally.
He further noted that the event underscores the substantial progress made across various sectors, particularly in culture and heritage. Thanks to His Majesty the King’s visionary leadership, culture has become a cornerstone in shaping national identity and enhancing its global standing.
His Excellency also pointed out that Bahrain has made notable strides in recent years, with significant advancements in cultural infrastructure and creative initiatives across various fields. Bahraini artists and creatives have earned international recognition, becoming global role models.
Concluding his speech, His Excellency affirmed that this occasion serves as a reminder of Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening its position as a beacon of culture and civilisation. He praised the efforts of all those who have contributed to the Kingdom’s cultural achievements and expressed his pride in the collective national spirit that drives success in every project and initiative led by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities.
