“From the Post” is a weekly cultural event that aims to highlight some of the many layers of the historic capital city of Manama starting from the Post Office Museum which was once housed the Manama Post Office during the 1940s.

For a period of 6 weeks, every Saturday from the 4^th of February to the 11^th of March 2023, all are invited to rediscover this port city; to learn and engage with some of the main elements of the city, from its architecture, markets, gold craftsmanship, fashion and many cuisines through a variety of different activities from walks, talks, music and workshops.

Urban City Fabric – 11 March 2023
The Manama city neighborhoods or “Al Furjan” reflect the historical identity derived from the multiplicity of cultures, races and religions within this port city. In the final week of this edition of “From the Post”, participants can experience different tours to learn about the visual heritage of Manama’s “Furjan” and the many customs practiced by the inhabitants of this city.
