An amazing culinary delicious is awaiting the public attending “ Muharraq Supper Club” lovers on its third week, on Sunday, March 12, 2023. Indeed, the attendees will be nicely surprised by a multiple dishes and recipes- tasting experience inspired by the sea, hosted by Bu Maher Fort at 8:00 pm, and creatively prepared by Chef Yousif Qamber and Chef Khaled Al-Saie. Noteworthy that “Muharraq Supper Club” Initiative event is part of the 17th Spring of Culture Festival, and requires prior reservation through the Pearling Path website, www.pearlingpath.bh.
Indeed, the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities seeks, through the “Muharraq Supper Club” event, to invigorate and activate the role of cultural and heritage sites in Bahrain and to attract the public to them to discover and learn about their historical importance and role in shaping the culture and civilization of the Kingdom. The seashore adjacent to Bu Maher Fort, and the building itself, are considered an essential part of the Pearling Path site registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Moreover, Bu Maher Fort was of great importance to the pearl trade that flourished in the Kingdom during the 19th century, as this place was a starting point for Bahrain to reach the world welcome visitors form all countries. The “Muharraq Supper Club” event at Bu Maher Fort will present five seafood dishes that tell stories inspired by the sea.
Worth to mention that “Muharraq Supper Club” initiative will be held during this month. the pioneering culinary experience aims to introduce the public in the Kingdom of Bahrain to the richness and diversity of the traditional Bahraini cuisine, which is one of the features of the Intangible cultural heritage of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
