BAB is an open, endorsed ideas competition. No direct commission will be awarded to the winners within the context of the competition. The intent is to generate ideas and stimulate discussion.

The selected winning participant/s could  be invited to participate in the future planning process of the square.

No entrant may have any personal or professional relationship with any jury member; and the jurors shall not directly compete or assist a competitor in the competition, nor shall any employee, partner, or associate thereof.

General competition rules and disclaimer

The Ministry of Culture (MOC) will retain ownership of the winning design submissions. Entrants acknowledge that the Ministry of Culture may exhibit all entries in an online gallery, and a selection of entries may be chosen for physical display.

The MOC will make reasonable efforts to notify entrants of any public exhibition of their work through correspondence with the registered contact.

In entering the competition, entrants grant the MOC an unrestricted license to exercise the entrants’ rights regarding their design submissions, including but not limited to, reproduction, preparation of derivative works, distribution of copies of the design submission, and the rights to authorize such use by others. Each entrant warrants that he/she has the legal right to submit his/her competition entry. The MOC bears no responsibility for verification of entry submission ownership or authority.

 The official language of the competition is English.  Submissions must be in English.  Any participants contacting the members of the jury will be disqualified. Non-complying or late entries will be disqualified
